Do I need any skills or experience to start on a course?

You do not need any previous experience or qualifications for these courses. All you need is to be conversant with the english language and a desire to learn and succeed! For Sage and Computerised Book Keeping a PC and email account.

How long will the course take to arrive?

Once payment for the course has been received, it should take around five working days or less to receive your course via post. If you make payment by cheque it may take longer as we have to wait for the cheque to clear before the course is sent out to you.

Will the software be compatiable to my PC?

When we receive your order we will contact you be email prior to dispatch to make sure that the training package is compatiable with the computer that you are using. Providing you answer the email straight away we can usually send out your courseware by the next day.

Is there any funding available?

We do not provide any funding as the courses are already discounted. We do find that many students use our distance learning courses to develop their careers and find that their employers are keen to support them, either financially or by providing study leave. In some cases local authorities have been prepared to finance the course for the unemployed.

How long will it take to complete my course?

As our courses are flexible distance learning packages, it will depend entirely on you. The more time you put in the quicker you will complete the course. On average most courses take between 8 to 10 hours to complete per level.

What certification will I receive at the end of my course?

All the Sage accounts courses lead to a standard college completion certificate that can be shown to a prospective employer or client as evidence of competence and understanding in using Sage software packages. Or alternatively Sage Certification is now available for £50 plus VAT per test. These tests can be arranged for you on completion of each level.

With ICB courses, once passed the exams you will become a member of the Institute of Certified Book Keepers and receive the relevant certificate from the Institute of Certified Book Keepers.
